In May 2013, Raising Little Heroes held an event which raised awareness (and some loose change) for Denver nonprofit Water for People. Water for People finds communities around the world that are in desperate need of a fresh water source and helps them research, set up and learn to maintain long term solutions. We think the work they do is amazing and wanted to help so we created an event in which we modeled, with our children, the work Water for People does. This kind of hands on experience is a wonderful way to take what is an abstract idea to our kids and make it into something tangible.
